The Big Day: Day 1

Here's a report of the first day:

I arrived earlier to decorate the church and placeset the service books. The books were custom-made (red cover, the pages tied together with a sparkly silver ribbon) and sunflowers were tied to the pews with luxurious orange and white ribbons.

Guests arrived at St Thomas' Cathedral by 9.00 a.m, including all family members from both sides. The bride entered the church at 9:10 a.m., accompanied by my father, three bridesmaids, a ring bearer, and the priest.

The bride wore an elegant white satin dress, with sparkly bead details on the dress, along with a tiara, a veil, and white heels. Her bouquet is made of fresh white roses. The groom wore a sharp, well-fitted black suit, with a black tie and shoes.

The service went on for 30 minutes, and then, the bride and groom exited the church for the photo taking session (that is a whole lot different story... cameras flashing left and right!). Then, it's off to the tea ceremony at the groom's house, followed by the bride's house.

Lunch was served, and then we all took a break and relax... for tonight, we had a barbeque party at our house.

And that was Day 1. Much more excitement than I can portray here. Sorry, it's already late, and we're all exhausted for the day. See ya tomorrow for the wedding reception (yes, it's a 2-Day event)
